Identity comes before the claim

GHK is the tripeptide glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine, and GHK-Cu refers to its copper complex. The peptide, the metal-bound complex, and a formulated commercial product are related but not identical evidence objects. A study on one cannot automatically validate all forms, concentrations, routes, or products.

Copper coordination and the histidine-containing sequence contribute to the molecule's experimental behavior. Broad statements about copper as an essential element are background biology, not evidence that any particular GHK-Cu preparation produces a clinical outcome.

A broad but heterogeneous literature

Reviews describe GHK-Cu research involving extracellular-matrix processes, cell signaling, antioxidant and inflammatory pathways, wound models, and gene-expression datasets. The breadth makes the molecule scientifically interesting, but it also creates an opportunity for selective citation.
